Avignon Shooting: No Malaysians Affected

KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra) has confirmed that no Malaysians were affected in a shooting in Avignon, southern France, on Sunday. Wisma Putra in a statement on Tuesday said Malaysians who required consular assistance were encouraged to reach out to the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris at 2 Bis Rue Bénouville, 75116 Paris, France or contact: +33145531185 or email mwparis@kln.gov.my. It was reported that eight people were injured in the shooting, which occurred outside Arrahma Mosque in the southern France city at 10.30pm, Sunday.
