BACA President receives Ambassador-designate to Belgium

Manama, Oct. 19 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the newly-appointed Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dossari. Shaikha Mai wished the Ambassador-designate every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties, stressing the importance of the role of diplomatic missions in enhancing the kingdom’s positive image and promoting its civilisational and cultural achievements at the international level. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen the Bahraini-Belgian cultural relations and open up wider horizons of fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries. The envoy commended the efforts exerted by BACA to develop the cultural work in the kingdom, and consolidate its cultural status at the international level, expressing his constant readiness to cooperate with BACA in order to achieve its vision on increasing Bahrain’s cultural presence in various international gatherings.
