BACA President receives APICORP's CEO

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the Chief Executive Officer of the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP), Ahmed Attiga, with whom she discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between BACA and APICORP. Shaikha Mai updated Dr. Attiga about the latest cultural events in the kingdom, including the beginning of the Spring of Culture Festival on February 25, affirming BACA’s keenness to involve the private sector in the efforts to develop the cultural movement and the cultural infrastructure in the Kingdom. Dr. Attiga praised the rich cultural movement in the kingdom, affirming APICORP’s readiness to cooperate with BACA to increase cultural production, in a way that would promote the kingdom’s rich history and deep-rooted culture.
