BACA President receives Bahraini Ambassador to US

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received, at the “Green Corner” in Muharraq today, Bahrain’s Ambassador to The United States, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa. Shaikha Mai commended the efforts being exerted by Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid to enhance the Bahrain-US relations, stressing the importance of cooperation of all parties in order to promote the kingdom’s cultural and civilisational image. BACA President pointed out that the Bahrain-US cultural cooperation has resulted in diverse events and activities that contributed to enriching the local cultural movement over the past years. The ambassador expressed thanks to BACA President for her efforts to build bridges of human communication between Bahrain and various countries. He affirmed that developing relations with the US would reflect positively on various aspects of the cultural and civilisational work, expressing his constant readiness to cooperate with BACA in order to strengthen cultural relations between the two friendly countries.
