BACA President receives outgoing Tunisian Ambassador

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the outgoing Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain, Salim Ghariani. Shaikha Mai expressed pride in and appreciation of the relations between Bahrain and Tunisia, praising the distinguished level of the ongoing cultural cooperation between them. She expressed thanks and appreciation to the envoy for his effective role in embodying such bilateral cooperation, stressing that cultural work contributes to developing communities, achieving sustainable development and building bridges of communication among peoples and civilisations. The ambassador lauded the effective role played by BACA to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries, affirming his country’s support for the cultural movement in Bahrain.
