BACA President receives Saudi ambassador

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al-Shaikh. She praised solid historical relations between both countries and reviewed a line-up of present and future cultural projects, including the 45th annual Fine Arts Exhibition which will showcase distinguished works of Saudi artists. She also pointed out the "Meeting of Cultures in Saudi Arabia's Jewellery Designs" exhibition which will continue until May at Bahrain National Museum. The Saudi ambassador praised strong cooperation between both countries mainly in the cultural field. He also pointed out the remarkable role of BACA in enriching the civilisational scene through cultural exchange between both countries.
