BACA president receives Saudi delegation

Manama, (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received a delegation from the King Abdulaziz International Cultural Centre (Ithraa) and discussed joint cooperation. The meeting was attended by BACA director-general for culture and arts Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa and Museums and Antiquities director Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa. BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa stressed deep-rooted strong cultural relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She commended the efforts of the King Abdulaziz International Cultural Centre (Ithraa) to develop culture and build bridges with the region and the world, as part the drive to achieve sustainable development. The Ithraa delegation stressed the importation of promoting constructive cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), highlighting readiness to take part in cultural activities in Bahrain.
