Bahrain’s Ambassador to Abu Dhabi attends Bahrain-UAE satellite Light-1 launch remotely

Abu Dhabi, Dec. 22 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Abu Dhabi Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, witnessed the successful launch of the Bahrain-UAE mini-satellite "Light-1" through the live broadcast from the launch area in Florida, USA. The Ambassador praised the efforts of the nine Bahraini students, who left a historical mark in the success of the launch of the satellite, which adds to the many achievements of Bahraini youth in one of the most important sectors of the future economy that is based on knowledge and innovation. He expressed the depth of the strong historical relations that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain with the brotherly United Arab Emirates in all fields, especially in the fields of scientific research and space, which reflects Gulf unity and the distinguished strategic partnership based on solid foundations of friendliness, respect and unity. He also stressed that the joint higher committee between the two countries has a great role in developing cooperation in order to promote the historical brotherly relations, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
