Bahrain’s ambassador attends ceremony

Brussels, Dec.2 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the European Union and the NATO, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi, the farewell ceremony held by Federica Mogherini marking the end of her tenure as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission. The ceremony was held in the presence of a number of ambassadors and heads of mission accredited to the European Union. Federica Mogherini praised the positive relations enjoyed by friendly countries with the European Union and the efforts exerted to strengthen them by examining areas of cooperation in political and security affairs, and expressed her pride in the good relations gained with ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Brussels during her tenure. For her part, Ambassador Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi hailed the distinguished diplomatic role of Federica Mogherini, wishing her success in her future duties.
