Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt meets Colombian envoy

Cairo, Feb.17 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permeant Representative to the Arab League, Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder met Colombian to Cairo Ana Milena Muñoz de Gaviria, at the Embassy’s headquarters in Cairo. Al-Jowder affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing its relations with Colombia, stressing the the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in the framework of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to enhance diplomatic relations with other countries. The Columbian envoy congratulated Al-Jowder on his appointment as Ambassador Egypt, wishing him success in his duties. She also presented him with a collection of books written by Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez. Other issues of common concern were further discussed during the meeting.
