Bahrain’s Ambassador to Italy meets La Sapienza University Professor

Rome, June 8 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Italy Dr. Naser Mohammed Al Belooshi met today with Professor Antonio Carbone and Professor Antonio Pastore from La Sapienza University in Italy. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Italian Republic and means of developing them at all levels were reviewed. The pivotal role played by La Sapienza University in the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence was stressed, in addition to discussing various topics of academic and common interest.especially in the medical field w Professor Antonio Carbone praised the memorandum of understanding between the ministries of health in both countries, which was signed during the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Italy in February 2020. He said that the university welcomes cooperation with the ministry of health in Bahrain to train Bahraini doctors on advanced medical systems.
