Bahrain’s Ambassador to Italy meets Military Polyclinic General Manager

Rome, Mar. 31 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al-Balushi, met the General Manager of the Military Polyclinic, Lieutenant-General Giacomo Mammana, here. The two sides exchanged aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to promote them, especially in light of the frameworks of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Health of the two countries, in the fields of health and medical sciences, which was signed during the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Italian Republic in February 2020. They also reviewed the joint medical cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Royal Medical Services and its hospitals in the Kingdom and the Italian military hospitals for the benefit of the people of the two friendly countries. The two sides also praised the valuable efforts made by the government of Bahrain and the Italian government in addressing the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
