Bahrain’s Embassy in Brussels celebrates NAC Anniversary

Brussels, Feb. 14 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Brussels celebrated the anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC). On the occasion, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of Denmark, and representative to the European Union and NATO, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi, extended her utmost congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. She noted that this occasion reflects the rich history of the Kingdom, highlighting an era full of achievements at various levels. The ambassador emphasised that the National Action Charter is considered a tangible expression of cohesion between the people and their leadership. She commended the participation of women in the National Action Charter Committee, which reflects His Majesty the King’s belief in Bahraini women. She noted that this makes the Kingdom of Bahrain an example today in paving the way for serious institutional work through the Supreme Council for Women, headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, and following a clear vision that contributed to raising the society’s view to the participation of women in all aspects of development with full competence, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
