Bahrain’s Embassy in Germany marks national days

Berlin, Dec.17(BNA): Bahrain’s to the Federal Republic of Germany held a virtual celebration to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its national days commemorating the 1783 establishment of the modern Bahraini state in the era of its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh as an Arab Muslim state and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne. Ambassador Germany Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, offered his sincere congratulations and greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to the Kingdom of Bahrain, government and people. He took pride in the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the prosperous era of His Majesty the King and in the advancement of the country in many areas such as human rights, freedom of religions, sustainable development, labor market reforms, empowerment and advancement of women, and other area. He recalled the big contributions and great role of late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may God rest his soul in peace, in the development, prosperity and overall boost in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He highlighted successful experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in addressing the Coronavirus (Covid 19) pandemic and mitigating its repercussions on the thanks to the directives of His Majesty the King and the national efforts of the Bahrain team led by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted the implementation of proactively measures and raising levels of preparedness to confront the pandemic based on advanced plans and protocols and providing treatment and health care services to all citizens and residents alike in the Kingdom of Bahrain to become a model for other countries and international organizations. This in addition to the financial and economic stimulus package estimated at 31% of Bahrain's GDP that was allotted to unify national efforts to curb the repercussions of the virus and provide the necessary liquidity for the sake of citizens, commanding the royal directives 0n providing vaccines free of charge to citizens and residents alike. Regarding the advancement of women, the Ambassador stressed the unlimited support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women in empowering women and dedicating the Bahraini Women's Day for the year 2020 to celebrate women in diplomatic work. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the development, growth and prosperity of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany in various fields, thanks to the keenness of the leaders of the two friendly countries, referring to the opportunities available to enhance cooperation in the economic fields, energy, tourism and vocational training between the two friendly countries. Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Miguel Berger, participated in the ceremony, expressing his happiness and pride in the distinguished level of Bahraini-German relations, and praising the success of the Manama Dialogue Conference. He also praised the political consultations and learning about the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid 19), affirming that the Federal Republic of Germany aspires to strengthen cooperation relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. The event witnessed a film entitled "From Dilmun to Bahrain" while Bahraini Artist Nour Al Qassem played a piece from Beethoven's.
