Bahrain’s envoy to USA attends Ambassadors’ Forum

Washington, Nov.12 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States of America Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated in the Ambassadors’ Forum organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in Washington, DC. The Ambassador delivered a speech in which he highlighted the strategic partnership and distinguished relations between Bahrain and the USA, noting the US-led role in promoting security, peace and stability in the region. He highlighted Bahrain’s economic openness, stressing the recent announcement of the economic recovery plan, which comes in line with the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Price and Prime Minister. He pointed out that the scheme calls for creating promising job opportunities, facilitating commercial procedures and increasing their effectiveness, implementing major development projects, and developing promising sectors to ensure financial sustainability. He shed light on the achievements made during the first year of signing the Declaration of Support for Peace with the State of Israel within the framework of the Abraham Accords, which included the signing of 15 memoranda of understanding and 4 agreements in many different fields, including the political, economic, commercial, cultural and tourism.
