Bahrain affirms solidarity with Iraq, Turkey

Manama, July 18 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the armed attack on Turkish consular staff in Erbil city of Iraq, which resulted in the death of one consular staff member, his Iraqi attendant and another Iraqi civilian. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its deep condolences to the families of the victims and wishes those injured a speedy recovery," said the ministry's statement. The ministry affirmed the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with Iraq and Turkey, stressing the Kingdom’s firm stance in rejecting all forms of violence and extremism.
