Bahrain Ambassador to UK meets APPG Chair

London, Sept. 8 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom and the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in the UK, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met today with Rt. Hon. David Jones MP, Chair of All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Arab Affairs. The Ambassador congratulated Rt Hon David Jones on the establishment and chairmanship of the APPG for Arab Affairs, stressing the importance of cooperation in addressing challenges in the region and the world. He also lauded the MP’s efforts in enhancing Arab-UK relations in areas of mutual interest. The meeting reviewed the relations between Bahrain and the UK and means of further enhancing cooperation between the two sides at all levels and discussed recent developments in the region and other issues of mutual concern at the regional and international levels.
