Bahrain attends Belgian National Day celebration

Brussels: July 24 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, and the representative to the European Union and NATO, participated in the events held on the occasion of Belgium's National Day. On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed her pride and appreciation for the ongoing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Belgium, which it is witnessing growth and development at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Belgium continued progress and prosperity. The Ambassador attended the annual Mass in St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral, which was held in the presence of His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium, Queen Mathilde, and members of the royal family as well as the annual military parade. At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, and of Defence, in charge of Beliris and Federal Cultural Institutions, Mr. Didier Reynders, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi participated in the annual gathering of ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium where she praised the progress made with the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Belgium, in light of the joint efforts of the two friendly countries to elevate relations to wider horizons and to meet common aspirations.
