Bahrain attends ceremony commemorating Abraham Accords

Brussels, Sept. 13 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Belgium Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Dosari, participated in the ceremony held by the Belgian Parliament on the occasion of the second anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords, at the headquarters of the Belgian Parliament in the capital, Brussels. The event was attended by ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Morocco, the United States of America, the Republic of Hungary, and the Deputy Ambassador of the State of Israel to Belgium. A number of parliamentarians, Belgian and European officials, media officials and the local and international press were also present. The event was organized by the Belgian Member of Parliament Michael Freilich, and Senator Karl Vanlowe of the Flemish Parliament. At the opening ceremony, Freelich praised the Abraham Accords and its role in promoting peace in the Middle East. For his part, the Bahraini Ambassador delivered a speech in which he highlighted the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in promoting peace and peaceful coexistence between nations and peoples of the world, which had a fundamental role in spreading the culture of building bridges and people to people communication. He further added that the positive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel in a variety of fields will lead to further prosperity. The ceremony also included a number of speeches and a video on the significant role played by the signatory countries, including Bahrain.
