Bahrain attends HACGA meeting

Dhaka, Oct.27 (BNA): Coastguard Commander took part in the 14th Head of Asian Coastguard Agencies Meeting (HACGAM), being held in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in the presence of officials representing 23 countries and organisations. The Kingdom of Bahrain has joined the Asian Coastguard Agencies (HACGA), after submitting an official demand in 2018. The organization aims at bolstering cooperation between maritime security and coastguard agencies in the Asian region, protect the marine environment, clampdown on illegal sea activities and build competences.
