Bahrain attends international conference

San Diego, Jan.20 (BNA): Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Brigadier Abdulsalam Al-Oraifi headed the delegation that took part in an international reformation conference in the United States. Representatives from reformation organisations from different countries took part. The event discussed topics related to the development of reformation organisations. The possibility for Bahrain to benefit from international practices to obtain accreditation was also discussed. The delegation also attended workshops which were held on the sidelines of the conference, focusing on efforts to ensure the safety of employees and inmates and training the staff working at rehabilitation institutions.
