Bahrain attends meeting in Brussels

Brussels, Jan. 22(BNA): A delegation from the Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) is taking part in a two-day meeting which started today in Brussels to discuss the Advance Passenger Information (API) and the Passenger Name Record (PNR). The World Customs Organisation said that the meeting will discuss the implementation of the interactive applications and the proficient use of passengers’ data and travelers’ records. The event will discuss information security of travelers and active use of the data of passengers. The NPRA participation in the international conference is part of continuous efforts to learn about successful practices to enhance services and keep abreast of shifts and developments.
