Bahrain backs Jerusalem Call

Manama, Mar. 31(BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the call made by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and His Holiness Pope Francis, which stressed the importance of preserving the city of Jerusalem as a "common heritage of humanity, a meeting place and a symbol of peaceful coexistence, where mutual respect and dialogue are cultivated". The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its sincere appreciation of the constant efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco, and affirmed that this call is now an important foundation for the establishment of peace and security in the Middle East, requiring more efforts by the international community to preserve Jerusalem, its sacredness and identity.
