Bahrain chairs GCC civil service meeting

Manama, July 5 (BNA): The Technical Committee of the Civil Service and Human Resources Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held its 14th meeting virtually, headed by Bahrain represented by Civil Service Bureau President’s Advisor and GCC and Regional Affairs Coordinator Sanad Ali Al Hammad. The meeting discussed mechanisms for developing a guide to develop and simplify government procedures and services in GCC countries. Al Hammad discussed the decision of the Ministers of Civil Service to assign the Technical Committee to prepare an indicative guide to work in the government sector in cases of crises and emergencies, and the negotiation process of unifying purchase prices for system licenses with Oracle company.
