Bahrain condemns Houthi terrorist militia's continued attacks on Saudi Abha Airport

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the Houthi terrorist militia’s recurrent, deliberate and systematic targeting of Abha International Airport in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry strongly deplored the targeting of the airport with a booby-trapped drone which resulted in minor injuries among people and damaged the airport façade, in clear and explicit violation of the international humanitarian law and all global norms, commending the vigilance and readiness of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen for being able to intercept and destroy the drone. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the firm position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in strongly supporting the efforts of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the measures it is taking to confront the Houthi attempted hostile attack to defend its security, stability and territorial integrity. It called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in condemning such attacks that pose a threat to the country, civilians and civilian objects.
