Bahrain condemns Khan Shaykhun bombing

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the bombing of the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun that left hundreds of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, stressing this atrocious crime is in violation of international laws and human norms. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasises that all parties need to shoulder their responsibilities and to fully commit to the ceasefire process and to exert extra efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis in conformity with the Geneva 1 statement 2012, relevant Security Council resolutions and international efforts met in Astana and Geneva meetings, to stop the bloodshed, end the suffering of Syrian people and preserve Syria's sovereignty and unity of its people," the ministry said in a statement.
