Bahrain condemns missile attack; voices support to Saudi Arabia

Manama, May 20 (BNA): Bahrain strongly condemned the firing of two ballistic missiles by the coup militias in the Republic of Yemen towards Mecca and Jeddah in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Foreign Ministry affirmed that this heinous act is a grave violation of all religious, human and moral freedoms, as it also disrupts the sanctity of holy sites and provokes Muslims all over the world. It commended the Saudi Air Defense Forces for their vigilance in intercepting the two ballistic missiles, reiterating Bahrain’s unwavering support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all those seeking to undermine its security and stability and target its religious sanctities. It called on all Islamic countries and the international community to unite in order to eradicate these criminal acts, hold those responsible accountable, and combat whomever supports or funds them.
