Bahrain condemns storming its Embassy in Baghdad

Manama, June 27 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in a statement, deplored the unacceptable attempt against the premises of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the sisterly Republic of Iraq, which carried out by protesters, sabotaging the Embassy building. Accordingly, the Foreign Affairs Ministry has decided to summon Ambassador Salah Ali Al-Maliki of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq for consultation, meanwhile it holds the Iraqi government fully responsible for the protection of the Bahraini Embassy and Consulate in Iraq and all personnel operating there in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961.
