Bahrain condemns targeting of Erbil with explosive-laden drone

Bahrain, June 9 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed strong condemnation of the targeting of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq in the north of the country, with an explosive-laden drone, which caused the injury of citizens and material damage near diplomatic and security buildings. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the kingdom’s solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Iraq in its war against terrorism and violent extremism. It also affirmed support for the measures taken to preserve Iraq’s security, stability, unity and territorial integrity, as well as confront attempts to create chaos, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
