Bahrain condemns terrorist attack on Mar Girgis Coptic Church in Tanta

Manama, Apr. 9 (BNA): "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the terrorist attack targeting the Mar Girgis Coptic Church in Tanta in the Arab Republic of Egypt which resulted in tens of casualties and injuries." According to a statement issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry today, the "Kingdom of Bahrain reiterates its solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in the face of terrorism in all its forms, and confirms its support of all the measures undertaken by Egypt to maintain its security and stability." "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its condolences to the government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing the speedy recovery of all those injured. The Ministry reiterates that this criminal act will not divide the unity of Egyptian society that has always maintained a strong unified societal fabric able to combat and eradicate terrorism. "The Kingdom of Bahrain renews its stance in rejection of violence, extremism and terrorism, and calls on the International Community to strengthen cooperation efforts to eradicate this phenomenon and its underlying causes as well as stamp out all sources of its funding," the statement added.
