Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Somalia

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in Somalia's capital Mogadishu killing and injuring a number of people. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Federal Republic of Somalia in combating extremism and terrorism in support of its efforts to maintain security and stability," said the ministry. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement expressed its deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing the injured quick recovery and reiterating the unwavering position of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which rejects violence, extremism and terrorism of all forms.
