Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Turkey

Manama, Oct. 9 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a military checkpoint in Hakkari province in Turkey, leaving a number of dead and injured people. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and best wishes of speedy recovery to the injured. "While the Ministry affirms the Kingdom’s solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Turkey in its war on violence, extremism and terrorism and renews its support for the measures Turkey may take to reinforce security and peace, it reiterates Bahrain’s unflinching stance in denouncing terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and suporting all regional and global efforts aiming to eliminate this dangerous plague that jeopardizes world peace and security," the statement said.
