Bahrain condemns terrorist blast targeting market in Baghdad

Manama, May 10 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the terrorist blast that targeted a market in the city of Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people. The Ministry affirms the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in its fight against terrorism and extremism. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes those injured a speedy recovery. The Ministry also reiterates the unequivocal position of the Kingdom which utterly rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and calls for concerted efforts to eradicate this dangerous scourge and drain its sources of funding.
