Bahrain condemns terrorist bombings in Afghanistan

Manama, May 26 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist bombings in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which yesterday targeted a mosque in the capital, Kabul, and several locations in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif, causing death and wounding a number of innocent civilians. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of these criminal acts aimed at destabilising security and terrorising people, stressing that they contradict all religious principles and moral and human values. It expressed Bahrain’s solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people, and extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured. The Ministry renewed its call for the need to intensify international efforts to eliminate terrorist organisations and dry up their funding sources.
