Bahrain condemns terrorist explosion in Ghazni, Afghanistan

Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): Bahrain condemned the detonation of an improvised explosive device which took place in Ghazni, Afghanistan, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of American personnel. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery," said the ministry in its statement issued today. The ministry affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with the friendly United States, stressing its support to all American efforts aimed at combatting violence and terrorism and reinforcing regional and international security and peace. The ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s firm stance in rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and calls for concerted efforts to end terrorism and its funding.
