Bahrain condemns Turkish military aggression against Iraq

Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the Turkish military aggression in Sidekan of Erbil province in Iraq, describing the attack as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Iraq, the principles of good neighborliness and the international charters and laws. During a telephone call today with the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Fuad Hussein, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, expressed deep condolences of the Kingdom of Bahrain, king, government and people, to the government and people of the Republic of Iraq on the martyrdom of the Iraqi military men in this oppressive Turkish military attack. He affirmed solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the sisterly Republic of Iraq against all threats to its security, stability and territorial integrity. The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, in his turn, expressed his country's pride in the fraternal stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which opposes any violations against the security and stability of the Arab countries.
