Bahrain condemns twin terrorist bombings at Philippines church

Manama, (BNA): “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the double terrorist bombings that targeted a church in Jolo Island, Republic of the Philippines, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people.” In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry also said that it “expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims, wishing those injured a speedy recovery.” “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the friendly Republic of the Philippines against terrorism, and stresses its steadfast position that rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism whatever their motives and justifications are, calling for concerted efforts to eliminate this dangerous scourge,” the statement added.
