Bahrain, Egypt economic cooperation highlighted

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayed received Egypt's General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Executive Director Mohammed Abdelwahab and the Sovereign Fund of Egypt Chief Executive Officer Ayman Soliman and reviewed with them economic relations between Bahrain and Egypt. Al Zayani hailed the close cooperation between the economic sectors in both countries and the tireless efforts undertaken by the public and private sectors to strengthen and upgrade them to the required level. He stressed the government's support for all steps and initiatives that would develop bilateral relations and noted the importance of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries to develop cooperation in various fields and strengthen frameworks for coordination on various issues. Al Zayani highlighted Bahrain's capabilities in accommodating various economic projects and its appropriate environment for the establishment of different economic and investment activities. The minister called the leaders of the private sector in both countries to benefit from the facilities provided by Bahrain.
