Bahrain Embassy in Brussels celebrates National Days

Brussels, Dec.10 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium hosted a reception on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebration of its National Days to mark the 1783 establishment of the state of Bahrain as an Arab Muslim country at the hands of its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the anniversary of its accession to the United Nations and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Enthronement. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of Denmark, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al-Jishi , and Embassy Staff welcomed the guests to the reception which was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps, European and Belgian MPs, businessmen and representatives of Belgian institutions, European Union, NATO and European Parliament. The ceremony featured an artistic show by bin Harban Popular Group, which attracted the attendance and reflected Bahraini folklore, in addition to a number of artistic paintings that highlight the most important modern and historical monuments of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Pamphlets containing information on the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the development march in the Kingdom of Bahrain were also distributed. AHN
