Bahrain EWA Minister receives Jordanian company officials

Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Yousef Bin Ahmed Kanoo Ltd Managing Director Bader Abdul Aziz Kanoo and Managing Director of Jordan's Greentech Company Bassem Al Saleh. The minister was briefed on the company's activities in clean and green energy technology. This is one of the leading companies in the Middle East that offers this technology and has extensive experience in the field of environmental and energy conservation. The two sides discussed cooperation with the Sustainable Energy Unit of the Electricity and Water Authority to implement further development projects in this field. Dr. Mirza welcomed Greentech's activities in the fields of green energy technology and said that the application of such technologies is in line with the national objectives of renewable energy and energy efficiency, specifically the initiatives related to energy-saving green buildings.
