Bahrain Foreign Minister receives Lord Richards

Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA) Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received UK’s former Chief of Defence Staff, Lord David Richards, upon his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister welcomed Lord Richards, affirming the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He also expressed his pride and appreciation for the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, which are constantly flourishing and developing. The minister noted the efforts exerted by Lord Richards in enhancing the bilateral relations, namely in the field of security, wishing him further success. Lord Richards expressed his pleasure to have visited the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He also hailed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, which are always developing in all fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
