Bahrain Forum for Excellence kicks off

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): The 2nd edition of Bahrain Forum for Excellence kicked off today Under the patronage of Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa. In an opening speech of the event, organised by Actsmart Public Relations Consultancy, Al Mutawa stressed that economic and political globalisation changes facing the world from time to time require governments to be highly flexible in order to cope smartly with contemporary changes and boost partnership between different sectors. The minister spotlighted issues like governance, requirements of quality, excellence, transparency, accountability, equal opportunities and benchmark according to national and international indices. He also underlined the concept of governance without which the governments, he said, lose their effective role.
