Bahrain to host GCC red crescent societies top officials

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the upcoming committee meeting of top officials in charge of red crescent societies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) next March to discuss the recommendations of their previous meeting held last October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The GCC red crescent societies' officials will also discuss the coordination of the stances of Gulf red crescent societies both regionally and internationally, exchange of information with the Office for Humanitarian Assistance in Yemen, review joint humanitarian projects and media content to showcase their efforts. The Kingdom of Bahrain will chair the upcoming session of GCC red crescent societies in December, according to Dr. Fawzi Ameen the Secretary-General of Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS).
