Bahrain to host International Paediatric Conference

Manama, Jan. 23 (BNA): The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) will hold the first International Paediatric Conference in February under the patronage of Chairman of the Supreme Health Council Lieutenant General , Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. An elite of consultants from Germany, Thailand, Canada, Ireland, India and Arab countries like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Sudan will take part in the event alongside participants from Bahrain. The conference will be organised in cooperation with the Health Ministry, Salmaniya Medical Complex, King Hamad University Hospital and Bahrain Defence Force Hospital. It will shed light on children’s health problems and diseases, ways of preventing them and the latest methods of treating them.
