Bahrain to host major medical conference, exhibition

Manama, Mar. 25 (BNA): The Organising Committee of the 2nd Dental Life Style Conference and Exhibition "DLS Bahrain 2017" has announced that the event will attracted top celebrity dentists in the Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, and all over the world. "DLS Bahrain 2017" will take place on April 20 and 21 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of Supreme Council for Health President Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. It is Organised by "Tarteeb" Event Management and BDA medical and scientific events. Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Conference Dr. Mohammed Shahda, said that the conference will bring together famous figures in dentistry and health to discuss how doctors could reach their desired success. He also stated that the most prominent dentist in the Arab world D. Majd Naji, Director of dental clinic "Liberty" in Dubai, will visit the Kingdom of Bahrain for the first time to discuss with the audience about how they can maintain success. Dr. Majd will discuss stories and attitudes from his experience in the field with Arab Celebrities and known figures. Dr. Joseph Goodman, the only doctor who has a copy of the smile of Michael Jackson, and used it to investigate the relationship of a son of Michael Jackson by matching the DNA from a copy of Michael’s dental kit, will also attend the event. Dr. Joseph will discuss how he designed the smiles of many Hollywood celebrities including Miss California 2016 and how to deal with important figures and achieve the best results dentists aspire to. Dr. Mamdouh Ashi, a specialist in the restoration of deformities and burns from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will also participate in event and will discuss cosmetic surgery and its relationship with dentistry. Captain Sami Haddad, Bahrain's bodybuilding champion, will also participate in the conference and will discuss the importance of maintaining the health and fitness of the doctor to increase his or her chances of success. The conference will also discuss important papers and research material in the field of dentistry, including the research of Professor Osman Al-Tuwairqi from Saudi Arabia who will talk about facial and maxillofacial surgery.Dr. FadiKhafash from Palestine is a Preservative Cosmetic Dentistry Specialist from the University of Manchester who will talk about the most important modern methods of treating dental nerves. Dr. Maxim Belograd of Ukraine will talk about microscopic cosmetic dentistry. The international lecturer in the field of transparent orthodontics Dr. Indira from Italy and Dr. Martin from Spain will both discuss the emerging technology of invisible orthodontics. As for the most important lecturers from the Kingdom of Bahrain, nose, ear and throat consultant, Dr. Abdul RahmanGharib will present a paper on Sleep Disorders and Sleep Apnea and its relationship to teeth and dentistry. Dr. Maysoun Al-Alawi, Dental Replacement Specialist, will present a working paper on dental cosmetic cases. Consultant Ibrahim Al Awadhi will participate through a working paper on the latest orthodontic techniques. Bahraini trainer Abeer Al Matouq will also participate with a paper on how doctors can maintain their confidence and reputation in patients and deal with different types of personalities. In addition, US Public Relations Specialist Dana Al-Issa will discuss with doctors on how to manage and organize projects. For the mechanism of selection of working papers and how to verify the scientific aspect and the validity of the information presented, The Organizing Committee submitted the request for the accreditation of the Conference to the National Health Regulatory Authority. The request took 6 months of examination and scrutiny of all submitted papers. The conference received 40 papers, 20 of which were selected to be presented during the conference. The process was supervised by Dr. Azhar Naseeb, Head of Scientific community for the conference and Head of Clinical Research and Chairman of the Committee on Education and Continuation of Professional Development at the National Health Regulatory Authority.
