Bahrain to host World Productivity Congress

Manama, Mar.25 (BNA): The 18th edition of the World Productivity Congress will open in Bahrain on Saturday (April 1).
The four-day conference will be held at the Gulf Hotel Conference and Exhibition Centre, under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa.
The high-profile congress is expected to attract more than 400 businessmen and women, leading decision-makers and productivity gurus from over 72 countries in the world.
Bahrain Society for Training and Development is organizing the conference, in cooperation with Jafcon Consultants for Productivity Improvement and in strategic partnership with the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA).
Leading keynote speakers will address the World Productivity Congress, including World Confederation of Productivity Science President John Heap.
Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, University of Bahrain President Professor Riyadh Youssef Hamza and other lecturers will also address the congress.
