Bahrain-Iraqi cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb.22(BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mohammad Adnan Mahmoud and praised strong ties and joint cooperation in various fields. Dr. Mirza also praised the developments in the relations between Bahrain and Iraq in terms of the use of mutual practices in the sector of electricity, water and renewable energy. He highlighted the achievements in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors in Bahrain and the significant percentage achieved in meeting the national goals approved by the government. He also spoke of activating the use of sustainable energy and green environment. The ambassador expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mirza for the warm welcome and the hospitality and for opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
