Bahrain-Italy closer cooperation stressed

Rome, Nov.7 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC), and Deputy Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Duaij Al Khalifa met the Deputy Director-General for Political Affairs and Security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and the The Directorate General for the Mediterranean and the Middle East Alfredo County upon her visit to the Republic of Italy. They discussed cooperation between Bahrain and Italy and their development in various fields, especially higher education. Dr. Shaikha Rana noted the importance of close relations and stressed the need to enhance them to achieve common aspirations and goals. She also thanked him for welcoming her and enhancing cooperation between both countries.
