Bahrain, Jordan agree on mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccine certificates

Manama, Oct.4 (BNA): Within the framework of continued coordination and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the governments of Bahrain and Jordan have reached an agreement regarding mutual recognition of vaccination against Coronavirus (Covid-19), following official discussions, including communication between their foreign ministries.
Effective from October 5th, and under this agreement, holders of vaccination certificates will be able to to travel between the two countries without the need to quarantine upon their arrival, taking into account the precautionary measures at their destination, which are constantly being updated, to ensure the safety of travelers under the current circumstances.
The identification of vaccination certificates will be carried out digitally, streamlining entry into both countries, while enhancing economic, trade and tourism links between Bahrain and Jordan.
