Bahrain; Jordan discuss joint cooperation

New York, Sep.21 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met in New York today, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Ayman Safadi, on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly. The meeting reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and means to strengthen them in various fields. It also discussed the political situation in the Middle East, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest. The Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, H.E. Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Ruwaie and the Minister’s accompanying delegation attended the meeting.
